Ceremonies for Weddings & Other Memorable Occasions

ROSE CEREMONY - "This rose is a symbol of your love. On each anniversary of your wedding, put a single rose in your home as a reminder of the love and joy you feel today. And should day-to-day living cast any shadow, be sure to pick a fresh rose and place it in your home as a peace offering and reaffirmation of the unconditional love you have for each other right now."

TRADITIONAL WEDDING CEREMONY - It seems just awhile ago prospective brides looked forward to buying a white gown, inviting a few family friends, walking down the aisle of their church and going to grandma’s house for a reception.

SAND CEREMONY - The Sand Ceremony represents leaving two separate lives and joining to make one life together. The separate lives are symbolized by two vases of sand, in different colors. The Bride and Groom come together, and pour into one vase, two individual colors of sand. Their flowing together creates a design made by the couple as they share their first experience of unity as husband and wife. The newly formed union is represented by the intertwined pattern of sand created by the couple. This symbol is then a keepsake of their wedding ceremony.

UNIONS OR CEREMONIES OF COMMITMENT - "You have presented yourselves here in the Presence of the Spirit of God, your families and your friends to be joined in loving partnership...True commitment is realized when based upon a deep spiritual communion of two people who find fulfillment and joy in each other. Do you both understand this?" (Answer, "We Do.")

BABY BAPTISMS, BLESSINGS and CHRISTENINGS - The ceremony is the public recognition of the presence of a spark of the Divine within the body and life of every child. It is an outward ritual intended to reveal the inner truth that God-consciousness has touched and abides in the child. The seed of perfection is implanted in every child, and awaits only the Baptism of Spirit, the outpouring of Truth, for the complete expression of good in his/her life. |
UNITY CANDLE - This involves one large candle and two tapers. The minister lights the large candle, the bride and groom light theirs from the one. "...the flame you are about to light is not created solely by either candle. So, too, is your love not the sole possession or creation of either of you. As a symbol of the spirit of love that has grown between you, I would like to ask you to light the Unity Candle at this time."
EXTENDED FAMILY INVOLVEMENT - In either or both the Rose Ceremony, Sand Ceremony and the Unity Candle Ceremony, we can include children, parents or other family members.
